The Breakdown
Senior Project Step-By-Step

Part of my moodboard are various animations. This is the feel/ quality I want to shoot for in my project.

Concept
Moodboards, Background & Character Designs, Storyboard
The beginning stages of any animation begins with an idea. What kind of story do you want to tell? Keep in mind your audience and how you will show them your characters.
Layout
Blocking, Timing Sheets, SFX, 3D Animation Setup
This is the stage that you want to layout everything you want to animate and see what you are working with. Timing is hugely important for this stage, as well as gathering sound effects to use. Blocking your shots in this stage is also very important for visualizing timing.

Animation
Adding Inbetweens
In the animation stage, you will fine tune your timing as well as adding inbetweens to your blocked shots. This means adding more frames to make your animation look as fluid as possible.
Clean Up
Rendering, Clean Line Work
Clean up is necessary for making the final animation look its absolute best. This is the last stage before showing off to your audience!
